About Us
Dnyanesh Dhrupad Sangeet & Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, established in 1992 in Parbhani, Maharashtra, is a nonprofit organization founded by Late Taalmani Pt. Bhaktraj Dnyanoba Bhosle. We are committed to creating positive and lasting change in the lives of individuals and communities through cultural preservation, education, healthcare, environmental initiatives, and community development. Together with our partners, volunteers, artists, and supporters, we strive to empower people, promote equality, and build a more inclusive and sustainable future—making a meaningful difference, one life at a time.
The Sanstha is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and expanding the rich heritage of ancient Indian classical music, with a special focus on Dhrupad and Pakhawaj. Our mission is to take these timeless art forms beyond geographical and cultural boundaries, creating awareness from the grassroots of India to audiences across the world. Through concerts, festivals, workshops, exhibitions, educational courses, artist residencies, and cultural exchange programs, we nurture young talent and create meaningful opportunities for emerging artists to learn, perform, and grow.
Founder Late Taalmani Pt. Bhaktraj Dnyanoba Bhosle
Beyond the arts, the organization actively works toward social transformation through education, healthcare, and environmental conservation. Our vision is to establish a free residential school for orphaned children and the children of farmers affected by suicide, providing them with quality education, care, and opportunities to build a brighter future. We also undertake tree plantation drives and awareness campaigns on climate change, global warming, environmental protection, and pollution control to encourage sustainable living and responsible citizenship.
In the healthcare sector, the Sanstha organizes free health check-up camps and public awareness programs on communicable diseases, helping communities gain access to essential health services and preventive care.
